This assembly is available in 2 versions:
If you cannot find a suitable length in our extensive standard range, we will be happy to offer you LED line lighting according to your requirements.
As we are the manufacturer of the line lights ourselves, we can offer customized line lights up to 1.8 m long in one piece with only a short delivery time and at reasonable prices. For even longer applications, we have the option of combining several rimless bar lights.
This unit has a very slim design. This makes it easier to integrate into the overall system and the camera can look past the luminaire at a very steep angle.
With the choice between a clear front and a collimator front, you can decide whether the light should be for matt or shiny objects.
The line lights have an optocoupler switching input that responds to every rising edge from 5 V TTL to 24 V PLC. The operating indicators on the back show the operating status of the light. No further external controllers are required, everything is built into the light.
The luminaire can be equipped for a wide range of applications in industrial image processing in various shades of white, but also in monochrome light colors from approx. 490 to 625 nm.

The special feature of this module is that these bar lighting units can be used for both continuous operation and flash mode. They can be set up in continuous mode and later operated in flash mode. The switching inputs react from 5 V TTL up to 24 V PLC to every rising edge.
No additional external controllers are required, everything is built into the lamp.
The heat emitted by the line light is dissipated evenly across the entire housing and the heat sink.
The lamp can be fitted with the light colors white and red for a wide range of applications in industrial image processing. Other colors on request.
This is precisely where our strength lies. Because planistar manufactures the lights in-house, we can produce customised backlighting with short delivery times.
So you don't have to follow our standard programme. We adapt exactly to your requirements and the conditions on site.
This saves you costs in theOur production processes are planned in such a way that a customised light has almost the same throughput as a standard light. The only difference is that the customised luminaire is precisely documented. This means that we are able to supply replacements even years later.
Benefit from the co-operation with planistar.
Lights direct from the manufacturer
When revising the product series, we always take sustainability into account, as many small details add up to a big picture.
This starts with saving resources and energy, the right choice of materials we use, right through to packaging and disposal.
Our line lights are fitted with high-quality high-gloss reflectors in conjunction with rod lenses that optimally reflect the LED light in the direction of illumination, thereby achieving high luminous efficacy.
Thanks to the almost parallel beam angle, the working distance of planistar luminaires is variable.
The special thing about this design is that we only focus the light in one direction, but the light is emitted at 120° across the light width. This ensures uniform illumination over the entire length.
If, as with other manufacturers, the light is focused in both directions, uneven illumination may occur.
For shiny test objects, a special foil is used to create a uniform and continuous line of light from the LED dots.
With our mounting brackets, our line lights can be easily installed in your system.
The exact beam direction can be optimally adjusted on site using a slotted hole.
In addition to our standard brackets, we can also produce customized fasteners for you in our own sheet metal processing facility.
In our lamps, the LED controllers are always built-in to the lamp. This prevents operating errors and accidental damage.
In order to achieve optimum interaction between the LED and the control unit, the electronics are also developed in-house and manufactured exclusively for us by a regional company.
The installation of the controller in the light offers a decisive advantage, especially for applications with flash operation. The very high and short flash current is generated and stored in the luminaire. The currents in the supply line can thus be reduced accordingly. This principle helps to reduce the risk of EMC interference.
The internal microcontroller monitors the pulse-pause ratio and only allows a new pulse after 1:5. This prevents the LEDs from overheating and being damaged by the flash mode.
The days when LEDs did not generate any heat are long gone. Due to increasingly powerful technology, it is important to design optimum thermal management for the entire fitting.
Because the only death for an LED is heat death. For this reason, the heat at the LEDs determines the service life of the entire luminaire.
Our mostly 2 mm aluminum housings serve as a large cooling surface which, depending on the application, can be supported by additional heat sinks.
Our team will be at your disposal for any questions you may have. We will process your request as soon as possible.
