2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act (TDDDG). 
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, in particular information such as name, address, email address, telephone number, as well as any other information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a person.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes: handling inquiries, executing and fulfilling contracts, customer communication, shipping and delivery of orders, payment processing, and – where consent has been given – sending newsletters. 
Processing is carried out on the basis of the applicable legal grounds under the GDPR, in particular: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests, in particular ensuring the secure and efficient provision and optimisation of our services)

4. Collection of Personal Data in the Context of Contact and Orders

When you contact us or place an order, we process in particular personal data such as first and last name, billing and delivery address, email address, and telephone number, as well as any additional data required for the proper handling and execution of inquiries, contracts, and business processes.

5. Disclosure of Data

Personal data is only disclosed to external service providers to the extent necessary, in particular to shipping service providers for delivery of goods and payment service providers for payment processing, insofar as this is required for contract fulfilment or we are legally obliged to do so. 
Beyond this, data will only be disclosed to third parties if there is a legal obligation or if you have expressly consented.

6. Storage Period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purposes and is subsequently deleted, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law) prevent deletion.

7. Newsletter

For sending our newsletter, we process exclusively email addresses collected in the context of existing business relationships and rely on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or – where required – on your consent. 
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link included in each email or by sending an email to us. The opt-out will be recorded in our system, and your email address will then be removed from the distribution list.

8. Cookies and Web Analytics

Our website uses cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of the website as well as – only with your consent pursuant to § 25 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – cookies for analysing website usage. You may withdraw or adjust your consent at any time via the cookie settings. 
This website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd., and where applicable Google LLC). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable analysis of website usage. The information generated may be transmitted to and stored on Google servers. We use IP anonymisation so that your IP address is truncated within the European Union. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TDDDG.

9. Data Transfers to Third Countries

Where data is transferred to the United States or other third countries, this is carried out in compliance with Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, for example on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

10. Your Rights

You have the following rights at any time: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR), Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

12. Updates and Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technical developments, or changes in our data processing activities.

13. Language Notice

In the event of translations of this privacy policy into other languages, the German version shall prevail. In case of discrepancies or contradictions between language versions, the German version shall be legally binding.
