Coaxial backlighting attachments

Here, planistar has chosen a different concept compared to other manufacturers.

Instead of a small selection of ready-made coaxial lighting, we offer a variety of coaxial attachments for our product range of backlighting and smaller bar lighting.

The customer can select a suitable size and type of backlighting. We supply the coaxial attachment for this purpose.

In the product catalog you will find 4 examples of common sizes.

In the direction of the camera, the divider mirror of the coaxial lighting is protected from dirt by a protective glass. A protective glass can also be fitted on the underside on request.

The modular design consists of 2 components:

A backlight that is manufactured either from the standard catalog or to a customer-specific dimension.
This allows us to select the backlight in terms of design, light color, brightness and function that best suits your application in industrial image processing.
The coaxial attachment is manufactured for this basic light and mounted on the basic light. The high-quality divider mirror enables diffuse and specular-free illumination of the mostly shiny test objects.
In the direction of the camera, the mirror is covered by an acrylic glass pane in the standard version.
If required, a protective screen from 0 to 5 mm can be inserted on both sides thanks to the attached frames.

Why coaxial lighting by planistar?

Thanks to the modular design of the light and the coaxial attachment, any type, light color, control and brightness is available to us as a basic light. This increases the choice many times over.

The attachments can be adapted not "only" for backlights, but also for shorter bar lights or other designs. They are therefore also interesting for applications with line scan cameras.

The openings of larger area lighting or light tunnels can also be compensated for with a coaxial attachment in conjunction with the appropriate luminaire. The brightness levels of the two lighting systems are always matched by planistar.

The concept is easier and less time-consuming to design and manufacture, as the respective attachment simply has to be adapted to the base lighting. This is also reflected in the costs for our customers.
