We had the expertise and the patent for this lighting technology even before edge illumination found its way into many displays and backlights.

Our skilled workers assemble every kind of lighting equipment carefully and to a high technical standard. Only after the final inspection with regard to quality and function is the lighting equipment released for dispatch. With its CNC machines, trained staff and thorough documentation, planistar always stands for consistent quality.
Uniform illumination and high luminous efficacy:
With planistar-Mess (a specially developed measuring program) and other measuring devices, we can determine the uniformity, brightness and light colour of our lighting technology and continually improve these parameters for you.
On request, we can also prepare a survey report for your luminaire.
Documentation as security for the future:
We document series devices and your customised lighting equipment with great thoroughness. This means we are always in a position to manufacture older devices to the same or equivalent technical quality, given the designation and the device number.
